Alex HonnoldTHE NORTH FACE ATHLETE
The only human to free solo Yosemite's rock monolith, El Capitan. Alex's extremely rare skill and unmatched mental focus have helped make him climbing's transcendent, breakout star.

Jacopo LarcherTHE NORTH FACE ATHLETE
Initially hooked on sport climbing and competitions, Jacopo has gradually gravitated to other aspects of climbing. He’s most at home in his van, scouting new lines in remote mountain areas.

Solenne PiretTHE NORTH FACE ATHLETE
With two climbers for parents, Solenne grew up amongst the crash pads, chalk and quickdraws of Fontainebleau. Since making the sport her primary focus in 2017, she’s won four world titles.

James PearsonTHE NORTH FACE ATHLETE
Hailing from the climbing heartland of the Peak District, James combines a naturally elegant style with dogged determination as he scours the planet for ever more demanding routes.

Caro CiavaldiniTHE NORTH FACE ATHLETE
Born on the tropical island of La Réunion, Caro has made her home in colder mountain climes, ticking off super technical routes all over the world from Ethiopia to Japan.

Siebe VanheeTHE NORTH FACE ATHLETE
Born in the flatlands, made for the mountains. Siebe is multi-talented climber noted for his first free ascent of 'Riders of the Storm' on the central pillar of Patagonia's Torres del Paine.

Nathaniel ColemanTHE NORTH FACE ATHLETE
An Olympic silver medalist and four-time US national champion, Nathaniel is based out of Salt Lake City. He built his reputation in bouldering but is now also a leading competition climber.

Angie ScarthJohsonTHE NORTH FACE ATHLETE
The first Australian woman to climb a grade 9a. Angie was a climbing phenom from an early age with an unprecedented three 9a ascents before the age of 18.

Brette HarringtonTHE NORTH FACE ATHLETE
A bold alpinist, calculated soloist and expert ski mountaineer as well as a big wall sender and graceful mixed climber, Brette's calling card is her extraordinary versatility.

Matty HongTHE NORTH FACE ATHLETE
The fourth American to climb 5.15b. Matty combines his extraordinary talent as a climber with another for filmmaking, producing legendary titles including Break On Through.

Otherwise known as Felix Clary Weatherall, Ross From Friends burst onto the electronic scene with his nostalgic house-inspired sound and has earned critical acclaim with his debut album 'Family Portrait'.

Laurence GuyARTIST
Artist, DJ, and producer, Laurence Guy is renowned for his critically acclaimed house music. Emerging from UK clubbing institutions like Cable and Fabric, he's crafted a signature sound by blending original compositions with samples.

AnuARTIST
An NTS regular, Anu's diverse artistry spans music, illustration, and advocacy. Rooted in London's underground scene, she has also made a global impact through residencies and tours.

Nine8 CollectiveARTIST
Nine8 collective, including Lava La Rue, Biig Piig, Mac Wetha, Bone Slim, LorenzoRSV, and Nige, extends its reach from visual arts to music, celebrating diverse subcultures in London and beyond.

JJESSARTIST
Hailing from London, DJ JJess graces dancefloors around the world while touring with PinkPantheress. As the founder of Dancefloor Theory, she has crafted mixes for Crack, NTS, and No Signal.

FAQs


General admission is free. Just download the DICE app and search for The North Face Climb Festival to secure tickets. Tickets are non-transferrable.
There are 3 rounds:
1. Qualifying Round. 150 climbers. Each Climber gets 1 chance to climb the wall. Your fastest time or highest climb will be recorded. The top 30 fastest times for men and women will move on to the next round.
2. Seeding. 60 climbers. Each Climber will get 1 chance to climb the wall. The top 16 fastest times for men and women will move on to the next round.
3. Semi Finals. 32 climbers (16 men and 16 women) compete for top time or height competition ending in a head-to-head competition. 16 Men and 16 Women compete for top 4 slots per gender.

Finals. 4 Fastest time per men and women will compete for top 2 times or height. The 3rd fastest time or height in this heat wins 3rd place. Top 2 times compete head to head for 1st and 2nd place.
The competition wall is for registered competitors only. Your can register at https://link.dice.fm/fcff04242cc2. There will be opportunities for the general public to climb onsite throughout the duration of the festival.
Amateur climbers 18+ are allowed to enter the competition. Competition athletes should have a climbing level of 5.12+, and must be able to swim. Get your competition entry ticket at https://link.dice.fm/fcff04242cc2
Dogs are allowed on the Canary Wharf estate, but for the safety of the animals and guests, pets are not permitted on barges or in event activation areas.
Yes.
Food and drink concessions including alcohol will be available onsite via local vendors. Additional food and beverage options are available to VIP guests on board designated vessels.
There are 3 rounds:

You should bring the following (* in clear bags only):
1. As many climbing shoes and chalk bags as you want/require
2. Chalk for refills
3. Change of clothes, as many as you need
4. Food and water
5. ID for check-in
There are 2 judges per climber as well as a head judge (5 total).
Bathrooms, showers to rinse and secure storage during active climbs will all be available on-site.
There’s a place to change and dry off once you exit the water. If moving on to the next round, it’s recommended to bring a different pair of dry shoes and chalk to change into. While dropping into the water is inherently risky, there is a water safety team and medic on standby for any potential issues.
The climbs will range from 5.12+ to 5.13+/5.14- depending on round and division.
There are two ways:
1. You can jump into the water below.
2. Competitors can down climb to a lower point, hang and drop.
Top competitors will receive the following:
1. £5,000
2. £3,000
3. £2,000

You've come to the right place. The North Face Renewed will be on hand throughout the festival to offer a free repair service on apparel from any brand. Arranging a repair is easy – just tell us what you need, come back later and your gear will be ready for more adventures.

- Limited to one repair per person
- Gear from all brands welcome
- First come first served basis
- Standard apparel repairs only – tears, holes, buttons etc.
- Excludes leggings, footwear, equipment and safety gear
